I wish I was back on the train to Gosford listening to Oh Comely.September/October 2008 was a great time for music discovery.

The most extraordinary thing is when I can relate to a song 100%.Especially one that I picked ages ago that became so prophetic.
A few months ago I was really attached to the song Call It Off by Tegan & Sara,although mainly Tegan,and played it repeatedly.On the album,The Con,the other tracks I felt close to were also Soil,Soil and Hop A Plane.
Due to recent changes I started listening to Call It Off again and the words sounded a lot more real and I went to www.songmeanings.net to see what other people felt about the song,freakishly enough someone mentioned how Hop A Plane, Soil,Soil and Call It Off are all linked.So I took Call It Off off repeat and listened to the other two tracks and then everything just came together.
Those three songs are exactly where I was and where I am.Both figuritively and literally speaking.I'd love to quote individual lyrics to show how they relate but then I realise how the whole songs relate.The themes of long distance relationships and uncertainty and second-guessing..are just..very much my life right now.
If anything I'm really loving my Macbeth Tegan Quin shoes right now seeing as they have THE quote of this time written underneath the sole: "Maybe I would have been something you'd be good at."

Im going to buy a discman so I can listen to The Con because its post-updating-my-ipod era.Or maybe I'll just lose my mind and write Call It Off all over my body with a biro,haha.Kidding.

I've never hated someone so much or felt so broken in my entire life.

I know I am worth more then this,more then a repeating record and a bottle of vodka on a day off.
I honestly don't know where I went at the beginning of March.I wish I'd come back.

Gosh today has been so good.The good follows like so:

-I had a vegan spring roll for lunch,as well as a lamington.The spring rolls from green gourmet are THE best.
-I bought Violent Femme's self titled cd for $8 & Panic!At The Disco's debut for $12.
-I bought a box of film for only $7.
-Turning away from the basket of film boxes I seen a record player with a reduced tag.It said $50.On closer inspection it said the player was damaged.After enquiring with the audio section guy I found out the damages had reduced the price to $30.

The record player is very important because I've been looking for one for a fortnight now,and to not only find one so cheap but one I've had my eye on since its first release,priced at $120,is great!
So continuing...

-My antibiotics only cost $11.I was expecting in the $20.
-My cab ride home was only $7.
-I have successfully made two chocolate cakes, 24 chocolate crackles,14 honey joys and 12 lamington cupcakes.They're for my nephews birthday party.

The only downsides are my toothache and the fact I spent some of my transport money for soundwave.Which is in one week.
